Who I work with

For those used to being the strong one.

I work with high-performing professionals and leaders who carry significant responsibility in their organizations, families, and communities — executives, physicians, healthcare professionals, and others who are used to supporting everyone around them but rarely have space to slow down and focus on their own internal experience.

For those who are often the only or the first in their roles, these pressures can be compounded by heightened visibility, added scrutiny, and a sense of isolation that few others fully understand. Many seek therapy when anxiety, burnout, decision fatigue, or persistent self-doubt begin to interfere with the level they expect of themselves.

I have particular experience supporting individuals from historically marginalized communities and those navigating complex systems and identities — while welcoming anyone seeking clarity, resilience, and sustainable success.

About Dr. Talee Vang

Clinical depth, informed by real leadership.

Dr. Talee Vang is a licensed clinical psychologist (PsyD, Counseling Psychology) with more than a decade of experience helping people navigate complex personal and professional challenges. Her training spans hospital settings, integrated primary care, and outpatient psychotherapy, supporting adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, and major life transitions.

In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Vang has served in senior healthcare executive leadership — giving her firsthand understanding of the realities leaders face: high-stakes decision making, crisis management, organizational politics, leadership isolation, and the emotional toll of sustained responsibility.

Her approach to therapy is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in evidence-based practice — including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

Her work is also rooted in liberation psychology, which recognizes that mental health is shaped not only by personal experience but also by the social, cultural, and historical forces that influence our lives. This approach invites us to understand suffering in context and supports people in reclaiming agency, dignity, and alignment with their values.

Adult ADHD evaluation

Adult ADHD assessment

From $2,800

Answers one question: is this ADHD?

A thorough, multi-method evaluation that looks well beyond a simple symptom checklist — combining your history, multiple perspectives, and objective measures to reach a confident, well-supported answer about ADHD.

  • Attention, focus, and distractibility
  • Hyperactivity, restlessness, and impulsivity
  • Everyday organization and follow-through, as they relate to ADHD
  • Emotional regulation and self-control
  • Real-world impact across work, home, and relationships
  • Developmental history and childhood onset
  • An objective, performance-based attention measure
  • Careful rule-out of anxiety, depression, and trauma
Executive functioning

Executive functioning assessment

From $3,150

Measures how your thinking actually performs — broader and deeper than ADHD alone.

Rather than relying on questionnaires, this evaluation directly measures how your brain performs across every core thinking skill using hands-on cognitive tasks — a more comprehensive picture, and a larger investment of testing and clinician time.

  • Working memory and mental control
  • Sustained attention and focus
  • Inhibition and impulse control
  • Cognitive flexibility and shifting between tasks
  • Planning, organization, and problem-solving
  • Time management and follow-through
  • Emotion regulation and self-motivation
  • Careful rule-out of anxiety, depression, and trauma
Diagnostic clarification

General psychological evaluation

Estimate after consult

When the picture is bigger than one diagnosis.

When the question is broader than a single diagnosis, a tailored evaluation brings clarity — drawing on the full range of psychological assessment to understand what is really going on.

  • Personality structure and patterns
  • Mood, anxiety, and stress-related concerns
  • Trauma history and its present-day impact
  • Cognitive and attention-related concerns
  • Functional impact across life domains
  • Clear diagnosis and treatment direction
  • Documentation for professional or medical needs

ADHD or executive functioning — which do I need?

ADHD assessment

Focused on a single question: do you have ADHD? It considers everyday executive-function difficulties mainly through your own report, as one part of the ADHD picture.

Executive functioning assessment

Goes deeper and wider. Instead of relying on questionnaires, it directly measures how your brain performs — working memory, attention, inhibition, flexibility, and planning — with hands-on cognitive tasks. Best when the concern is broader than ADHD, when ADHD has been ruled out, or when you need a detailed cognitive profile for treatment, work, or accommodations. The added testing and clinician time are why it costs more.

Not sure which fits? The complimentary consultation is the place to figure that out together.

Complex or high-stakes cases — atypical presentations, or accommodation and disability documentation — may include an expanded, comprehensive module for broader coverage. Final fees depend on scope; a precise estimate is provided after your complimentary consultation.
